My buddy Alex from deadsea hipped me to Joe Preston’s killer online radio show FthatS on Combat Radio.
Scott Kelly also has a show there, Return to Zero.

The guys from Big Business have a new project: White Shit. It also features Andy Coronado, the guitarist from Monorchid and Skull Kontrol.
From Post Present Medium:
The world of hardcore crossover dropped a big loaf in our laps and we are very pleased. White Shit is the powerhouse musical styling’s of Andy Coronado (Wrangler Brutes, Monorchid, Skull Kontrol, Nazti Skins) Jared Warren and Coady Willis (Big Business and The Melvins) and a guy named Tits. White Shit think in terms that are somewhat too mentally elevated for most to understand fully, but if you read between the lines it all comes together. Make no mistake with a name like White Shit you get what you pay for. The music is powerful, hardcore straight-ahead shredding with a group of fellows we have grown to love. Enjoy.
Read what Vice has to say about them and check out an MP3 there as well.
Buy their LP Sculpted Beef (that’s the cover above) here.

Interesting fact: Dale Crover plays drums on a good deal of Lou Barlow’s new record Goodnight Unknown.
Follow up and new trailer to our previous post about the Karp Documentary: Kill All Redneck Pricks: KARP LIVES! 1990-1998.

I’m 99.99% sure this clip is from Salad of a Thousand Delights.
Even if it’s not, pick up Salad of a Thousand Delights or watch it streaming on Netflix.

Shrinebuilder posted a new song to their Myspace entitled “Pyramid of the Moon”.
Check it out here!
(Thanks Adam)
In honor of Harvey Milk’s killer set last night, check them out playing Crush Them All live.
Note that Joe Preston is playing second guitar. Joe’s stint in the band was pretty short lived as he’s apparently no longer in the band.

Melvins are way up there in the “bands that can pretty much do no wrong in my book” book.
In another book of mine (Killer Albums), the Melvins’ record Houdini is perched near the top.
Come to find out, Melvins are scheduled to play four shows, all of which will include the full Houdini album.
Looks like I need to book another NYC plane ticket.
